Face Data Summary
Our App processes images that may contain facial information for AI features (including image-to-image, image-to-video, text-to-image, text-to-video, and video face swap, as made available in the App). Face data collection, use, disclosure, sharing, storage, and retention are fully explained in Section 1.3 Face Data, with additional details in Section 3 (Data Sharing), Section 4 (Data Security), Section 6 (Your Rights), and Section 9 (Data Retention).
AI Data Processing Notice
All AI processing (image generation, video generation, face swap, etc.) is performed exclusively on servers that we own and operate. We do not use any third-party AI service (such as OpenAI, Stability AI, Midjourney, or similar) to process your photos, face data, or personal content. Your uploaded images are sent only to our own servers, processed there, and the results are returned directly to you. Before using any AI feature for the first time, the App will present a clear notice and ask for your explicit consent before processing your data.
Echoo ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application Echoo (the "App"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access the App.
When you use our AI features (such as image-to-image, image-to-video, text-to-image, text-to-video, or video face swap), the App may process images that contain facial information ("face data"). Below is a complete explanation of how we handle face data:
In-App Consent: Before you use any AI feature for the first time, the App will present a clear notice explaining that your uploaded photos (which may contain faces) will be sent to our servers for processing, and will ask for your explicit consent before proceeding.

Echoo does not send your photos, face data, prompts, or other user-generated content to any third-party AI service. All AI-related processing is performed exclusively on servers that we own and operate. No external AI platform, model provider, or third-party AI service receives your media, face data, or personal content. Your data is not used for third-party model training or any unrelated purpose.
AI Processing: We do not use any third-party AI service to process your photos, face data, or user-generated content. All AI features (image generation, video generation, face swap, etc.) run entirely on our own infrastructure.
We may share other categories of non-content information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:
We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Authentication credentials and sensitive preferences may be stored securely on your device (for example, using the Keychain). User-generated content and usage data are transmitted over encrypted connections where applicable. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
With your permission, we may access your photo library to save generated images or videos when you choose Save. You may pick images from your library using the system photo picker to provide input for AI features; we process only the content you select for generation. You can revoke or adjust photo-related permissions in your device Settings.
You have the right to access and correct your personal information where applicable. You can contact us at the email address below.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information (including any face data stored on our servers) by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days, subject to our legal obligations.
Our App uses Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework to request permission before accessing the advertising identifier (IDFA) where required. If you grant permission, the identifier may be used for advertising measurement and analytics. You can change your tracking preferences at any time in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Meta's data practices are described in Meta's Privacy Policy.
Echoo may offer auto-renewable subscriptions and in-app purchases (including consumable credits). The subscription title, length, price, and terms are displayed in the App and on the App Store at the time of purchase. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings. Your use of subscriptions and digital content is also governed by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions (EULA).
Our App is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it promptly.
Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence. These countries may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. By using our App, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries where necessary to provide the service. We apply appropriate safeguards where required by applicable law.
We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. We may retain certain data to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Face data and media content: Images and videos containing facial information that are processed for AI features are automatically deleted from our servers within 7 days after processing completion. You may request deletion at any time (see Section 6.2); we will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. We may also notify you of material changes through the App or other reasonable means. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
